Securaze Work macOS auto-login

Here are the steps on how to setup automatic login functionality on Securaze Work macOS bootable drives.

Once the bootable Securaze Work is ready for use, boot it on dedicated macOS machine (Securaze Work (Catalina) bootable drive on Intel Mac, or, Securaze Work (for Apple Silicon) bootable drive on Apple Silicon Mac).

 Instructions

Here are the steps you need to take once you boot the Mac from the bootable drive:

  1. Open Finder

  2. Click on Applications in the left side menu

  3. Double click on TextEdit application

  4. Select Applications folder in the left side menu

     

  5. Click on New Document

  6. If your default setting in TextEdit is to create rich text file, switch to plain text file by pressing “Shift” +
    ”Command” + “T” on your keyboard

  7. Now, enter the following text in the text field:
    username=your Securaze username@namespace or your Securaze user email address
    password=your Securaze user password

    Example:

    username=xxx
    password=yyy


  8. Click on text file name (in the example here it is “Untitled”) and rename the text file to securazework

     

  9. Make sure it is saved in the Applications folder by clicking on Where field


    and select Applications folder in case it is not already there


    You will see it in Applications folder with the name “securazework” if you saved it correctly.



This text file will allow you to automatically login to Securaze Work every time you use this bootable drive to boot on a Mac.
