Securaze Remote error codes

Securaze Remote provides error codes during erasure process which help to solve issues. Here is what each code represents, and how to resolve the issue.

-1003

Securaze Remote ISO image is missing in source folder.

Uninstall Securaze Remote.
Reboot Windows.
Reinstall Securaze Remote from scratch.

-1004

Less than 2 GB storage space left.

Provide more storage space on System volume and/or installation drive.

-1005

Windows volume can't be resized.

Reboot Windows and retry.

If it's still not possible, try the following steps:

  • free up addtional storage space

  • defragment the storage (if the storage is highly fragmented the resize may not be possible)*

*use Windows Defrag-Tool

-1008

Boot manager can't be installed.

Uninstall Securaze Remote.
Reboot Windows.
Reinstall Securaze Remote from scratch.

-1009

Securaze partition is Bitlocker encrypted.

Uninstall Securaze Remote.
Turn off Bitlocker if possible.
Reinstall Securaze Remote from scratch.

-1010

UEFI entry can't be created.

Reboot Windows.

Free up some drive letters, e.g. remove network mounted drivers.

Restart Securaze Remote.

-1011

UEFI partition can't be mounted.

Reboot Windows.

Restart Securaze Remote.

UEFI files can't be copied.

Reboot Windows.

Restart Securaze Remote.

-1013

Securaze Remote ISO image is missing in target folder.

Uninstall Securaze Remote.
Reboot Windows.
Reinstall Securaze Remote from scratch.

-1014

No drive letters left.

Reboot Windows.

Free up some drive letters, e.g. remove network mounted drivers.

Restart Securaze Remote.

-1015

Partition resize permission denied

Reboot Windows.

Restart Securaze Remote.
