Supported RAID controllers
Many RAID controllers are natively supported and deleted within Securaze Work.
Not natively supported controllers can still be used, but RAID dissolve needs to be done manually in advance.
SAS controller passthrough-mode (=retreive serial numbers from storages)
To be able to access the disk details, the SAS controller needs be changed to the passthrough-mode.
Different vendors call it differently, and have different ways to achieve it.
For Dell's controllers or similar, it's called HBA mode (Host Bus Adapter)
For LSI based controllers or similar, it's a specific IT (Initiator Target) firmware.
Please consult the manual of your specific SAS controller how to put it into HBA mode or how to flash it with IT firmware.
