Using USB adapter with SSD/HDD drives
Using USB adapter with SSD/HDD drives
Connecting hard drive via USB adapter might cause SSD/HDD recognition failure.
A USB adapter is a device that connects an unenclosed hard drive to the computer via USB. Drive adapters are generally used to clone the contents of an existing drive to a new drive. The adapter plugs into the drive's connector on one end and the USB port of the computer on the other.
When you put your hard drive in a USB adapter and connect it to a machine running a Securaze solution, SSD/HDD recognition might fail, and depending on the USB case - it will also not show serial & drive details.
