Update Securaze Work macOS application on created bootable SSD for Mac Intel (T2)

A new version od Securaze Work macOS application is available for you to download, and you wish to replace the existing one on the bootable SSD drive you created to process Mac Intel computers (with T2 chip)? Here are the steps how.

 Instructions

  1. Plug in your Securaze Work macOS Catalina bootable drive in a Mac Intel

  2. Boot from the drive, and wait until the OS is up and running, and Work application starts

  3. Click on SecurazeWork in the top left corner, and select "Quit SecurazeWork"

  4. Open Finder, go to Downloads folder, delete the existing unzipped SecurazeWork-4.10 folder

  5. Open Safari, go to Securaze Dashboard, and login with your Securaze user credentials

  6. Go to Downloads page, and download the latest Work macOS application (at the time this article was written, the latest version was 4.11.0)

  7. After the download is complete, go to Downloads folder on the Mac, and double click on the downloaded ZIP file to unzip it.

  8. Open the unzipped folder, and click on SecurazeWork application once

    then select the option button (gear icon) and click on "Copy SecurazeWork"

  9. Go to Applications folder, and scroll down, find Securaze folder, open it, and click on SecurazeWork application once

    then click on options button (gear icon) and select "Paste item"

  10. During copy process, you will be asked whether to replace, stop or keep both files. Click on REPLACE.

  11. As always, if you need to start the Work application manually, do it from the Applications folder, by double clicking on Start Securaze Work

    Otherwise, the application will now start automatically on every Mac Intel device as soon as you boot from your bootable drive.
